1. Grade 6/7 MACC classes bowled at Zone Bowling this week and realized 10 pin was a lot harder than it looks.  Student said “It was fun! The ball curved too much” and “it was frustrating not getting strikes without the bumpers.”

2. Students had the chance to watch movies at lunch this week – watching “Santa Baby” & “Santa Baby 2”.

3.We competed in the first annual door decorating contest.  Div 6’s “igloo was epic” and Div 7’s “Eggnog carton on the door was awesome!” 

 

4. MACC students showed their festive spirit on Tis the Spirit Day last Friday.

5. Blue team is stepping up their recycling efforts to earn more Spirit Points.  Drink containers and paper recycling happen every Tuesday and if students remember they get extra points!

6. Choirs and Bands performed this week on Tuesday evening.  Congratulations to the many MACC students who participate in our music programs!

7. Secret Santa visited Div 6 & 7…. much candy, many books and a few Rubiks cubes were left for our students.  Ho! Ho! Ho!

8. After 6 weeks of lessons, all the students have finished their curling lessons and had a mini bonspiel.  Students learned about gripers, sliders, brooms and hacks.  “It was fun to sweep and get the rocks into the house.”

9. Edmodo will be shut down over the Winter Break.  Students will have the opportunity to be back on edmodo in January.
